I keep getting FB friend requests from Korean people I don't know. I don't think I've ever met them. Apparently they're "friends of friends".

When I send a friend request, I usually include a little message of introduction, mentioning how we are acquainted.

I don't want want to "friend" people I don't know, but I also don't want to come off as unfriendly, so to speak.

Do others simply click "add" to all friend requests?

If it's someone I definitely do not know and they don't include a message explaining the request I reject them. If it's someone I know but don't like I just ignore it....and if it's someone whose Korean who I may know through a friend or something I'll accept it...if they post stupid stuff that pops up on my newsfeed I'll "unfollow" them.

It's not hard to ignore people on FB, even if they are one of your "friends. I find that a better alternative to "offending" someone by rejecting their friend request. It's silly, I know.

You won't come off as unfriendly. Chances are they probably just clicked add friend a million times.

I have a rule - no Koreans on facebook. It's really quite pleasant.

The problem with having FB friends is directly proportional to how much inane stuff that they post. Some people that I dearly love have found religion and feel inspired to post frequently about that. I can ignore anything that doesn't take too long to load.

A lot of Koreans that ask to be my friend have no picture, so I don't know if I know them even. So I just decline them.
