Yeah, for those of you who might be shrugging, this is a pretty big deal in terms of electronic music. This would be, say, the equivalent of...hmmmm...not even sure if I can put this into a proper context that a non EDM/club music fan could grasp. Let's just say that Hawtin is THE producer/DJ that a lot of DJs aspire to be like.

He's probably the most universally respected producer/performer out there, and his gig in Korea is a huge indicator of how far things have come here in terms of being a nightlife destination...a sort of stamp of approval or what have you.

I dug around a little and found out info for the actual gig. Interesting selection for a venue, considering all the bigger options out there. The promotion team probably got a VERY good deal for booking him there.

The scene I feel is about smaller guys now..
