Hi,
Can anyone tell me what types of stores are in this mall? I have read it is huge and has a lot of choices. Any opinions?
Also interested in a hotel in area.TY. |

It has the biggest E-mart I have ever seen.
Other than that, the rest of the mall reminds me of the Duty-Free shopping at an airport; pretty useless.
If you are used to a mall in America, it's really disappointing. I mean, there is nothing like a JCPenney, Sears, Target, Dillards... in there.
Still, it is pretty much the only "mall" that I know of in Korea (the Coex mall doesn't even have one big store, as far as I know). |

There's a really good Nike shoe store and a movie theater. The movie theater seats are often fully sold out on Saturdays so it must be top of the line modern cinema. The lobby looks like a science fiction place with the sky walkways and big ball things hanging down in a large open space. It's a nice mall with real brand name stores. |

I'd love to see a movie on that screen. I did a quick search, and I think I found it at:
"Starium, which is one the theater inside the CGV Yeong-Deung-Po complex known for the world’s largest screen."
I know Times Square is in Yeong-Deung-Po.
But I never heard Times Square referred to as "Yeong-Deung-Po complex".
Can anyone confirm? Is the "Starium" the theater inside the Times Square? or is "Yeong-Deung-Po complex" someplace else nearby?
Thanks, |

It's your pretty standard fair of the usual chains. Not too much different from the department stores. I go once in awhile as I live nearby, but unless you have absolutely nothing better to do, it's really not worth the visit. |
