Korean Tax Question (I owe money!?)

I was just informed by my boss that I owe 300 thousand and change in taxes this year. Last year I got a couple hundred bucks back. Has anyone else had this happen? It seems like a lot.

My academy deducts taxes from all of my paychecks. I believe the tax rate is 1.3%.
