It seems like most morning jobs are 9-10hrs a day whereas most afternoon jobs are 7.5-8. Does anyone know anything about the difference besides the obvious less time working and getting to sleep in? |

Most people like the afternoon-evening jobs specifically because they get to sleep in. If you finish up work at 10 pm then you can go straight to the bar and clubs to hang out with friends. Another benefit is that if you get up at a regular hour then you can go shopping or go to the bank and do other stuff like that while everyone else is busy at work. If you work until 4 pm then you won't have much time before it closes.
One downside is that if you're teaching kids then they might very likely be burned out by the time they get to your evening class. |

The main difference is Morning/Afternoon Hagwon roles are Kindergarten & Elementary.
Afternoon/Evening are Elementary & Middle.
The afternoon/evening roles these days are better because the morning/afternoon roles are being stretched longer and longer. It's scary when you see hours like 9 to 7 with only 10 days vacation.
Public School and After School roles are much better in terms of hours, and so if you can get one do it. |
