Nope, never been. I guess I've never had any interest in exploring other parts of Korea. The wife and I figure if we're gonna take time off work and spend a little money we'd like to explore the world. Sure Jeju might be a little cheaper than a flight to Thailand or Vietnam but the experience of seeing a different type of culture is well worth it to us.

Plus drugs are more readily available than they are in Korea, or so I've heard.....

Got a package with car rental and hotel by the ocean. It was nice, for Korea.

Been once. Not bad if you just want to relax and sit on the beach. Not much to see or do there. Renting a bike or scooter is fun.

Yep.

Nice little place, but nothing to write home about. If you've got nothing better to do, it's worth a visit.

Agreed. We went when it was raining and it was still plenty to do. Udo was my favorite. Riding the ATVs in the rain is still fun. A car is must.

However the city felt really weird as it was the typical drab Korean architecture with random palm trees along the road lol.

Yes. It's OK. There are some interesting things to do.

The beach is OK although the lifeguards won't let you swim out very far, and on the weekends you have the screaming kids pointing and staring at you in the water.

No....but it's mostly because whenever we get holiday the majority of Koreans are also on holiday....and as there are only about 2 or 3 places worth visiting in this country it seems EVERYONE goes there that weekend/week.

Loved it. Beautiful coast line, fascinating caves and volcanic rock formations. Clean air.....and polite drivers. I couldn't believe it. In Jeju city cars stop behind the white line and allow pedestrians to use the crosswalk.

Weird.

Been 3 times. Would go back. 한라산 is one of the better hikes in Korea in my opinion. The food is good on the island as well.

No, but Halla-san in the winter is supposed to be quite beautiful. I plan to go at some point.
