| New to all this so please excuse my probable idiocy...but I'm checking into getting my Criminal Background Check started and understand you need to get that directly from the FBI. I've perused the FBI site but can't find anything referring to a "Criminal Background Check" but do see a similar sort of service called an "Identity History Summary". It requires fingerprints and all that so I'm assuming this IHS is the same thing as a CBC? Or am I way off and just not looking in the right place. Thanks for any help! |
