Hi,
I hope I've posted this in the right place.
just a quick question for those who have done both the Delta and the PGCE.
I'd really like to be a primary school teacher, but I'm a little worried about being unprepared for how intense the course is. The Delta was hell on earth for me, but I managed to get through. Is the PGCE as tough or tougher? |

PCGE is like your senior year in uni.
It is not at intense as a DELTA since you are completing it over 2 semesters and not 3 months.

If you're doing a PGCE in the UK you'll have to do teaching practice at two different schools and they usually choose one rough one to give you an idea of what you could expect. The DELTA's pretty tough but at least you don't get sworn at or physically assaulted |
