Any info out there about where public showings of the world cup will be held in Seoul? It appears that the games will be early in the morning here. In particular I'm curious about the game on the 22nd.

The game on the 22nd (Brazil) is actually on the 23rd (Korea) at 4am! Which is a Monday morning. Plenty of Hofs and Bars will be showing the game. In the past there have been big screens set up around City Hall, but not sure if that will happen again. |

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. With the time difference I don't know if they'll have the huge public showings or not. I haven't been able to find any info about it. I have a friend visiting during that time, so I'd like to take her to experience that. With a 4am showing that seems unlikely though. |

Just hit the clubs at midnight and start drinking. Time flies in the club. You'll pop up for air round 3:30 and then hit up the showing. It's Korea. You have a major shopping district that doesn't OPEN until after midnight. There will be people a plenty.
If you need to stay awake but want to get your buzz on and aren't sure you can hang, pound vodka Red Bulls and wolf down active dry yeast to stay sober. 1 tsp. per drink. Go for one drink with, one without to maintain a nice buzz that doesn't go too far. And plenty of water of course. |

Good advice on the dry yeast SR....you know your stuff....though technically you should down the dry yeast before you start drinking. That's what Jim Koch says right? |

Yup. But you can take it in between drinks as well, and yeah, I got the idea from Koch. How long is it before we see Sam Adams-branded yeast anti-intoxication supplements? |

Check out hyundaifanpark 영동대로 for watching bigscreen in a crowd. The TV ad for it is hilarious.
Be aware: Psy will make appreances there, so you Psy-haters might wanna go somewhere else. |
