Quote:
As the bus drove, the driver allegedly shouted at the man, "If you want to get on a bus with a dog, put it in a box."

I would have thought a spit would have been more apt.

Quote:
"When I wasn't insultingly let on, none of the many passengers on the bus helped me. After an argument with the driver, I asked the passengers in a nearly begging manner, ‘I'm a blind. Can I get on with a guide dog?' They only replied, ‘Yes,' and never helped me in other ways against the tyranny of the driver," he said.

Grow a back bone people! Steelrails is busy at the moment doing PR for the bus company..... He'll be back after lunch.

Hmm, what will SR's apologist argument be on this?

Public hygiene issues?
It's the blind person's fault for taking a bus when he could take the subway?
The tired old fallback to "It's just Korean culture, please understand it"?

He'll question language, but assuming that's a non-issue, he'll be kind of pissed. My Steelrails-sense is generally quite strong.

Many old Koreans have this irrational hate for big dogs that I never understood. Anyone have an idea?

Koreans to me genuinely seem scared of everything - and quite superstitious.

My GF messaged me a few days ago to tell me shed killed a spider and the whole office treated her like a celebrity for the day Shocked

Can you think of a more powerful person to help the old man out?
