I'm finishing my current contract at my hagwon at the end of August. Leaving early after three years. My visa is valid until March 20, 2015. Let's presume the hagwon cancels it like they're supposed to.
I want to attend Yonsei for korean language academy. Since I want to get my pension and use it, I need to bump down to tourist visa.
Can I keep my Olleh account open? I imagine not since I don't have an ARC. I've had the account for almost two years now. Part of me wonders, if I just keep paying it, will anything happen? |

It will just keep going until you cancel it as long as you continue to pay it.
The same with your bank accounts; they will stay open as long as they are active.
KEEP a photocopy or scan of your ARC. You may need it later.

Phone account will stay open as long as you pay.
If you have, or can get, a Korean drivers license, that works as well as an ARC in some instances (as ID at banks for sure). |
