I am having trouble securing a job because of a poor reference and want to take my chances in person. Does anyone have experience looking once in Korea. I will be staying with my boyfriend while I look.

(employers won't pay for it if you are here - they still have the visa run to pay for_.

I did it in 2009 for my first job due to a cancelled TESOL class in Taiwan and it worked out okay. That was a different world though.
