I am about to take the final test. A couple of questions
Are there ony culture/ society questions on the final test, or are there grammar questions as well?
What kind of questions did they ask for the speaking part?
I barely passed level 4 and have the language certificate of completion, but my home page status reads 5단계 중간평가대상자 ( I should take the midterm)? even though I am in level 5.
Should I be concerned about that? |

Search on this site and you will find more information on the final test.
I can't remember for sure, but I do think there were some grammar questions on the final exam.
As for the speaking part, when I took the exam the questions were not that difficult. They asked about my experience in Korea and some questions about the Korean food culture. I was also asked about Hanok and to compare/contrast Hanok with western houses.
Good luck to you! |

I did it last spring so my memory is a little hazy, but it was mostly stuff from the course and textbook with some grammar/topik-type questions thrown in here and there.
The speaking test was very simple. I read a short article and answered some simple questions about it. Then they asked me some random questions about life in Korea. That was in 2013 though. The format is constantly changing. |

When it says you need a certificate of last years tax payment is it the previous 12 months, or the year of 2013? I started working on my current visa in March of 2013.
Should I be concerned about this?

How were you able to do level 6 uni course while working full time? I have a uni certificate for level 4, but they usually do not go beyond level 4 in evening classes. |

I found that they were pretty lenient about your income documents. I just used the previous year's and it was fine. If you've worked at your current workplace for more than a year, they can also provide you with a document that shows the exact previous 12 months.
I did levels 3 and 4 while I was not working. Found an afternoon job and did 5, then KIIP, and then level 6. Would not recommend it. I did level 6 specifically to get the extra point, but I've heard others have been able to get the point with any level certificate. Try looking through the big thread.
As for the visa. I wouldn't be worried. I've heard the one year rule often, but I don't know how valid it is. I've never seen it in writing, only through hearsay. A friend of mine applied the same time as me and got the F2 only after 3 months on a work visa (with no previous work visa, friend was a student before). |
