|
|
I am currently in Korea and trying to figure out where to send my documents in Canada. I'm from Ontario, so naturally I would use the consulate in Toronto. My RCMP CRC is from Ontario, however, my degree was awarded in Alberta, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Vancouver consulate. Has anyone else encoutered this? Were you able to get your consular seal from the Toronto consulate even though your degree was from a province outside of their jurisdiction.
I really, really, really hope I don't have to send my CRC to Toronto and my degree to Vancouver! That would mean using 2 separate notaries and a lot of shipping back and forth, further complicating everything for my friends and family handling this back home for me
And just for the record, I have send emails to both the Vancouver and Toronto consulates, but I have no idea if and when they will respond, so I thought I would try here to see if anyone has had this same issue. |

I just got my degree verified in Montreal and I studied in the US- so definitely outside their jurisdiction. It doesn't matter! |

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I woke up this morning and had a very brief email from the Toronto consulate telling me to send my docs to that office. So, I'll post an update if I run into any issues and otherwise it can be assumed that this ended up not being an issue. |
