Hello,

I recently went through Accurate Biometrics, they are on the FBI authorized list, to get my FBI CBC. I was about to send it off when I noticed that it doesn't have the last 4 digits of my SS on it. Every digit is X'ed out.

Now, I have had previous background checks that had the last 4 digits on it. I know I can still get it apostilled, but will Korean Immigration accept it? Will they even notice since there is nothing else they can compare it against?

Thanks

I've been told by my employer that Korean Immigration usually doesn't accept FBI checks through a channeler, even if they are on the FBI's approved list. I'm afraid that we Americans have to apply directly to the FBI for our checks. I would do so just to be on the safe side, but you never know! K-Immi change their minds as often as they sneeze!

Well...I used an expediting service...their name does not appear anywhere on the documents. Thus, what immigration does not know, will not hurt you.

It worked for me.

I suppose it is on a "need to know" basis.
