Hello,
I am leaving my current job two weeks early, still on good terms, for mutual reasons. My contract officially ends August 3rd. I leave in two weeks and just got a new job that starts August 31st. I don't think I have time to transfer my visa, as I'm going to America during the time I'm between jobs. Switching to a D10 seems to take quite a while, and you have to wait until your contract is over, which I'm leaving the day after.
If I can get my employer to wait to call the immigration office at the actual end of my contract, I have 30 days to transfer the visa, right? What I'm wondering is, is that 30 days to get a new visa or just to apply for one? So if I apply for a visa, say, September 1st, would it be okay? |
