I am looking at taking a TESL course to better my chances of getting a more prestigious position in the ESL teaching industry. Are there any reccommendations on respected TESL courses online?

If you're thinking of teaching in Korea then first decide if you need a TEFL course.

Hagwons ask for no more than a degree. Uni's ask for an MA.

Middle and High Schools might prefer a TEFL course holder.

So, a TEFL course isn't actually required by any institutions in Korea.

I have one myself and I'm glad I did it because it made me a better teacher but it didn't get me better jobs in Korea.
