I found some old threads about this on Dave's (going back to 2011) so I was hoping for some more recent information.

I am currently trying to find a program that is affordable but well-respected and online (I am working in Korea, and my schedule is somewhat unpredictable at the moment.).

I have been looking at the Framingham MA (offered in Seoul), which seems affordable and somewhat well-respected. I also like that it only takes 13 months to complete and costs 8,000 dollars. However it may not match my schedule.

A lot of the American online programs I have found cost typically three times that. They have name value, and probably better reputations than Framingham, however, I would not like to break the bank. Another reason I am looking for an American program is when I move back to the states, I can tack on a teaching certification to some of these programs. OR better yet, I have heard some have that built-in to the online component.

I am thinking if I could do an online MA for under 15,000, and if it could be closer to 12-18 months than 24- 36, I would be much more satisfied with that trajectory, as I have other pending bills, and may go actually go back for another unrelated degree later I will need the extra money. I assume these programs are out there. But I can't find any lists organized by price or program length.

Anybody satisfied with an affordable online program they have done? I could really use some suggestions.

Thanks in advance.
