Can someone please confirm that the below process is correct?
For the copy of the diploma, it is to be notarized and apostilled by the same state.
I live in CA so I would get it apostilled by the Secretary of State's office in Los Angeles or in Sacramento?

The CRC does not have to be notarized since I will have a note to have it authenticated with FBI Seal and division officer signature. I then get it apostilled through the National Secretary of State by mailing it to
U.S. Department of State
CA/PPT/S/TO/AUT
1st Floor
1150 Passport Services PL
Dulles, VA 20189-1150
I am applying for the Spring 2015 intake and I'm wondering that no matter how early or late the applications are turned in after August 1st, the interviews will not start until October per epik website timeline? |

You're correct regarding the college degree. I lived in PA but went to college in VA so I had to send my diploma to VA to have it done. Thankfully for me my college offers a free notarization service so I mailed them my diploma and theysent me multiple notarized copies for free. (Maybe it's worth checking to see if your college does the same.) I then sent that to the Sec of State (Commonwealth) to have it apostilled.
You're also correct regarding just getting the CBC apostilled and that is the mailing address you send it to. I've heard of people getting it done through channelers though if you're in a rush....but it doesn't sound like you are.
Regarding EPIK someone will have to answer that for you. |

Dont waste your time getting your FBI apostilled by the DoS. Much quicker to get it apostilled along with your diploma by Cali's SoS.
I always done that (even for Seoul Immigration) and never had a problem. |

The link states: Authentication requests can be submitted by mail to our Sacramento office.

Yes. The CRC is a federal level document, thus federal level apostillation. And the CRC must come directly from the FBI. EPIK is adamant about this. No channeler whatsoever. This is not for Seoul immigration - this is for the Seoul public school system.

First come, first serve. Someone who turned in their app on August 1 will get an interview before someone who turns it in Sept. 1. This may be a huge factor in getting into a high-desired location (like Seoul) |
