You mean you plan to DEPART tomorrow and not to ride down all the way tomorrow?Because Daum map says it's 480 kilometers and 12 hours if I select "free". Which basically means no highway/expressway. You can beat that time for sure but if you stop - which you obviously will - than it will be at least that much or more.
Make it a 2 days down and 2 days back trip.
Navigation will tell you the shortest (best) way. Use your smartphone. |

Question: Why do you want to see Suwon, Cheonan, Daejeon, etc? Unless you are stopping and finding unique attractions, the city views just passing through are going to look all the same.
Recommendation: If you are going to go through the middle of the country, go out Hwy 3 and make your way through Cheongju and then Daejeon. It's more of a direct route.
Better recommendation: Drive east starting on Hwy 6 and go to Samcheok on the east coast, then take Hwy 7 down to Busan. The views of the beaches and mountains will be 100% better than the Paris Baguettes and Lotterias you'll see in larger cities. |
