Hi Everyone,
I'm currently looking in to completing my background check before going to South Korea next year and just want to check that the Basic Disclosure will be enough for employers? That is the only one I can request personally. However, on the Disclosure Scotland website it does mention "Umbrella Companies" that you can apply through for more enhanced diclosures but, from what I can gather, these are job recruitment agencies.
Will I have any problems in South Korea if I just apply for the basic check?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Likely not.
From the E2 documentation from immigration website.

The basic disclosure from Disclosure Scotland is the one you need, it's the one I used, as did everyone I know who are from the UK.
I see the post above mentions Access NI, just to mention, a friend of mine tried to use an Access NI police check in 2011 and it was rejected, (despite her coming from Northern Ireland) she then had to get the Disclosure Scotland one which was accepted. |
