Hi All!
Anybody have any info on Jumi's Natural English School and Kid's College Mapo? I read a girl's blog and it seemed like she like working at JNE, but I haven't been able to find anything about this specific Kid's College. I know they are a franchise, but I've read that all branches run independently and some can be good while others are bad. Any help would be appreciated! |

No idea about JNE, but tread lightly with Kid's College. Sure there are good ones and bad ones but most of them seem to be bad. By all means check them out and keep and open mind, just make sure you vet the bejesus out of them. |

JNE is a good place to work for a noob. I worked there as my first job in Korea 7 years ago. Nothing special hours and benefits wise, but not bad either. Also, I think these days I heard there may be the opportunity to do extra classes and make a pretty big salary if you put the hours in (not defo about that though).
It's a friendly, family run place and the family lived in the US for a long time so are pretty westernized. I suppose most importantly, they are honest and trustworthy. Also, it is in a great location, right in the centre of Seoul, near to Beotigogae subway station, a short taxi ride from HBC.
Not trying to sell this place at all and I have absolutely no affiliation with it now, but I was pretty pleased with it as a first place to work in Korea. |
