In the market for a lot of furniture. I have checked out Hanssem so far and while the mattresses are nice they seem a little overpriced. I plan to check out some more shops down by 학동 station along with Costco. Just looking for some other recommendations.

The answer to everything is always the same:

online.

Every brick and mortar store in Korea is overpriced.

Used furniture markets. There are a lot, and not expensive. I know there is one near Jongno. And there was another one in Dongjak Gu. Would be best to ask a Korean if they know about these places. When I lived in an apartment in Mapo, my boss took me to one of the markets in Dongjak Gu and she told me it wasn't so expensive. Man this was 5 years ago though. Things might have changed since then.
