I thought this was going to be a thread about teaching the use of the schwa. That really is a vital but ignored key to good english pronunciation. Korean english teachers have never heard of it!
Meanwhile I'm finalizing my docs to apply as a high school english teacher on a tiny South Pacific isle that I checked out this winter. Looking positive. I want to stop getting haircuts, teach barefoot, & fade gently into the sunset. |

Same here. I was actually looking forward to reading strategies for teaching the pronunciation of this phoneme.  |

Oh, wow. Sort of like the end of an era. In agreement with your perspectives or not, I couldn't help but feel like you were 100% satisfied with the life you carved out for yourself here in Korea.
