Hey everyone
I am hoping to make the big switch from hagwon to public in the spring.
It is my understanding that public schools offer 1.3 in airfare allowance + a $300 settlement allowance.
Because I am already in Korea, are those allowances exempted?? |

You'll get the settlement allowance. Not the airfare.
My coordinator said the airfare remained 'at the discretion of the school', but I interpreted that to be a dissembling 'No, you won't get airfare.', which proved to be correct. |
