|
|
I haven't been able to find any answers on this one, so I'm wondering:
Once my school issues me my visa number, and I have to send my docs/passport to the Korean consulate, is there any way to expedite this process? I tried to find a courier in Chicago (the closest location) but they made it seem like the Korean consulate does things at their own speed.
Aside from paying for same-day delivery and crossing my fingers, is there any way to speed this crucial last step up a bit?
Thanks. |

You just have to wait for the consular officer to give you the visa. There's nothing that can be done to speed that up. |

I've submitted a visa application via USPS express to the consulate in Houston and also the one in New York City. I received my passport with visa with 48 hours. In my experience, they work very quickly. |

I sent my Visa overnight by Fedex on a Monday to the one in NYC....it was ready for pick up on Thursday.
This was back in Jan of this year. I live relatively close to NYC so I was able to pick it up in person. |
