I have been away from Korea for a few years and my driving licence expired. Never really though about it, of course. Well, I went to my local police station to see about it today and they said not only would I have to redo some test, I would also have to sit in all day at some remedial session (like for those who lose their licences due to drunk driving etc.). Why? Because like them, my licence was cancelled.

Is this not ridiculous? And besides, the day for the 'education' is a working day - a Tuesday - and all the centres in other regions also have this 'education' on Tuesdays. How stooopid is that? And ditto the bike test.

Anyone got a spare bicycle?

Or any ideas how to tackle it?
