Is is just a tabloid ? or is it a racist rag? or is it a voice for a sort of confucian puritanism....
How is it that putting pictures of black guys and a headline about "raunchy" Olympic sex ok?

This is almost as bad as the dude interviewing himself to complain how bad foreigners were in Korea.

To be fair, I bet Usain and LeBron are getting a lot of the action there. Those guys should take the article as a testament to their studliness. |

Yes, because anyone familiar with Korean culture knows that "foreigners = sex fiends" is a stereotype here and this is magnified 10x when it deals with black people. I mean, the two pictured here aren't even in the Olympics |

The KT article is composed of information from providers such as espn.
The espn article features a photo and a quote of a black athlete.

Looks like the KTimes uncovered an amazing scoop or conspiracy theory with their last paragraph (AIDS-laced condoms intentionally distributed to Olympic athletes):
"The IOC says Condoms Distributed to Prevent athletes are being Infected with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome from (AIDS) or other Diseases transmitted through Sexual Intercourse." |

Today the KT had pictures of severed Mexican heads on the front page. There's also a story about a man having sex with a dog. When they aren't publishing sex stories featuring filthy foreigners, they are beating the war drums of Korean nationalism, or blatantly plugging the various products that Samsung has managed to rip off from actual legitimate global companies. They also like to post articles that basically sl__-shame women ("Short Skirts Lead to Sexual Assault" etc). Did anyone ever think they were a serious news source? I always thought it was run by a couple of angry Korean flunkies from a one-room studio somewhere. I was actually shocked when I first saw a printed version of the KT.
I'm guessing most of their revenue comes from the various pop-up ads on their website touting plastic surgery, counterfeit brand name goods, and Korean knock-off viagra. |

U can say that again.
I wrote them a letter once and they added in all kinds of grammatical mistakes. The end result looked like something from a ten year old. |
