the male host is the guy that has a really sarcastic attitude? i hate him, it's like, just do the job, don't add commentary about your personal opinions :/

anyway, that show is fek hard. if those questions came up on who wants to be a millionaire, no one would get past $200.

Ralph - Here, here. I want to write a letter to the show and have them splice together (redundant?) all of his f**k ups when reading. I guarantee that that would be a half hour show by itself. The guy is a dumbass.

Hes a pretty boy air head. The guy gets all the answers on his little cards, and acts like a big intellectual complete with the sarcastic attitude. But ask him to read an easy sentence, he screws up 4 or 5 times before getting it right. However, the point of this thread is not this girly illiterate pretty boy, but the punk from Otay. I watched the show where they beat the FF team, with that short fat gay guy who wouldnt stop stearing at his korean "friend" like he was lusting after him. When Otay pulled it out, this PUNK's reaction made me want to punch something. Gay humpty dumpty obviously was too scared to punk him. I wish I was there.

I gotta admit, punk boy was pretty miffed throughout the show when the gay chap was making him look silly...
Foreigner guy knowing all the answers....geeezzz what nerve...

Where the hell did OPAL come from? I swear the other day I watched it and the punk boy knew the answers before they were asked....nah..that would NEVER happen...
I was cheering for the 'FF' ..."Friendly Friends" team just hoping they would beat out the OTAY attitudes.

So it wasnt me that got the gay vibe from humpty dumpty. It was kinda creepy how he kept staring at his "friend" but then again, I was hoping they would beat the punks from otay. I swear to god, if I ever see that otay PUNK on the street im gonna make him cry.

lay off jason, 'dude on the right'...
he's just making it interesting for his friends and himself to watch later. if you were on the show would you just stand lamely and answer the piss weak questions? when you have opponents who are either retards or can barely speak english, you have to pass the time somehow. in retrospect, i wish i had done some 'punk ass' things when i was on the show.
if you want a piece of him, i can tell you where to find him... wouldn't recommend it though.
admittedly,i haven't actually watched any of the contenders since the otay team started, but i'm sure it can't be that bad...

dude on the right is a retard. I dont think that could be argued. Home boy from LA is behaving like a monkey. You havent watched the show? Then WATCH it. Mumbling under your nose and outbreaks of epileptic seizures as he answers an easy question are not signs of intelligence. If I was on the show Im sure I wouldnt try and humiliate the other team. The guy is just a little punk. As for his friend, will he EVER answer a question? Ill give jason props for knowing trivia from grade 6. Its just that his behavior hasnt really changed much since grade 6 either.

The guys on the OTAY team are both Korean-Americans and I don't think they even know Korean. The guy you all hate is from Southern California and it shows, mannerisms, accents and everything.

And that show it is ridiculously easy.. not hard. The hardest part is in the final round they always have a category where the questions are given by a video guest speaker and usually the guest speakers English is so f'ing bad you can barely tell what the question is.

Seriously, the questions on "Quiz Champion" which is for middle/high-school kids are sometimes harder than the Contenders. Plus, Son Jungmin on Quiz Champion is way way hotter than the chick on Contenders.

Quite true. She also has her own show on the cable channel M*net that's nice to watch. She's obviously very talented.

nah, they're both fluent in korean.

Hell Phil, I've actually seriously considered applying.

Problem is, apart from the S.S. team (the phillipino couple) I don't think they've ever had an all foreigner, especially two caucasians, team. There have been a number of caucasians (last show even) but only with a korean friend.

Now, thats not a problem since my girlfriend is Korean and very smart and fluent in English.. except she hates the show with a passion and when I asked her flat out she refused. She finds the two hosts unbearable and yells at me when I'm watching it.

So unless I can find a smart Korean chap to accompany me, I think I'm SOL. And I mean smart.. since so many of the "teams" are really just one person answering all the questions while the partner smiles dumbly. (S.S., F.F. etc)
