Okay, so I've been trying to decide what to do with my apartment, and am having kind of a hard time. I don't want to get rid of it, because
1) That would involve moving (which is costly, and also an extreme pain). I do have a lot of stuff (full set of appliances, furniture, etc.)
2) I'll have no place to stay when I do come back (and I'm sure I will come back, if only temporarily)
3) It will be difficult to find something as cheap/well located if I do need to move back here in the near future
Some background info:
I've never taught before, and am planning on going to teach English in Korea for a year. I plan on leaving in a few months. If I like it, I'll continue doing that for at least a few years, probably in more than one country. I do plan on coming back every year for about a month to see my family and such. However, if I hate it, I guess I'll just return to Montreal and figure out what I want to do here. |

Are you renting? If so, sell everything, gift away whatever is left, terminate the lease, and make the move to Korea. |
