I am getting so tired of returning to that overpriced, over-taxed, confused shit hole. But my granny is getting old and I love her.

God Canada sucks ass.

I don't even know what Canadian is anymore. I land at the airport and don't even recognize the place anymore.

What an overpriced, depressing country.

We can all blame Harper for that. He once infamously said, "You won’t recognize Canada when I get through with it."

When I returned after being in Yeosu from 2005 to 2010, I had more than a couple of Rip van Winkle moments myself.

This. A nation full of individuals with a Napleonic complex.....all upset they weren't born a few miles south. Easiest way to recognize a Canadian They are the person in the room explaining to everyone that they are from Canada.Everyone MUST know they are Canadian. Such a sad bunch.

Hey as long as they keep giving guys who help the Wings win the cup, Nik Stauskus, and unloading Anthony Bennett on the Cavs, Canadians are alright with me. And three words: Trailer Park Boys.

Not to mention the brilliance that is Rob Ford.

As a Canadian it's always more fun to see how long one can hide it. Most of the time you can spend a whole night without anyone suspecting you're not American. None of the other blessed 7 can do that.

Well I like nature and outdoor sports (mtn biking and rock climbing) so Canada is just fine for me. Plus unlike many ESL lifers, I actually got an ok job in Canada. That would change your perspective a bit. No country is great when living costs are high and all you can do is sling coffee at second cup. Furthermore coming back to Canada will suck because you can't get attention just because you're white and speak English. It's a hard reality check for many especially for white men who were insecure to begin with. Seen it so many times. Vancouver is loaded with these types.

That being said Canadians abroad, yes, can be freaking annoying. Especially holier than thou hipster liberal arts majors from Ontario. Sadly Korea is overrun with them. You can recognize them easily because they never shut the hell up. Actually I wanted to say I was american when I was over there, huahahah!

I don't care if you apologize for Korea to death. You know stauskas and bennett. You sir, are alright.

Bennett will improve this year and 2020 will be our year to fiba/olympic gold baby.

This just might happen. After what happened yesterday, US NBA players won't be wanting to play for their country.

Taxes are so high in Canada they're pushing the middle class into poverty.

Government regulated monopolies like the phone companies, cable TV companies, liquor stores, are ripping off consumers too.
