A few years ago (2006-2011) I had a number of E2 visas while living and working here, and now I am back in Korea as a tourist and looking to get another E2 visa.

Will the documents that I submitted for those visas still be on file and accepted by immigration, or do I have to prepare them all again?

Is it still possible to apply for an E2 in Japan?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if the questions are common knowledge, I've been out of the loop for a while and had no luck with a search.

A copy of your diploma is probably still at immigration but I'd imagine the chances are pretty good your school will request you to send new ones....with the rest....I'm pretty sure you'll have to go through the entire process again.

Fingerpints
New background check
Transcripts
Diploma

etc etc you know the drill.

More than 90 days out of the country or more than 90 days on a tourist visa(s) and you need to start again with all new documentation (certified true copy of your degree and CBC (complete with apostille)).
