New players and alumni alike are welcome to participate. Here are the rules:


Each week I will post a schedule of the NHL Saturday games.

All you have to do is pick 5 teams that you think will win.

For every correct pick, you will be awarded 1 point.

If all 5 of your picks win, you will receive 1 bonus point.

Each week, one of the games will be designated the Game of the Week, and will be worth 2 points.

The maximum amount of points that can be obtained each week is 7 ( 2 points for successfully predicting the Game of the Week; 4 points for successfully predicting the outcome of the 4 other games selected; 1 bonus point for picking 5 winning teams). This is commonly referred to as a "Cool Burn."
Please note there is no obligation to choose the Game of the Week (GOTW) as one of your 5 games. However, if you choose not to include the GOTW as one of your 5 picks, the maximum amount of points you can obtain for the week is 6.

Whoever accumulates the most points during the season will be declared the winner.

The deadline each week is before the earliest scheduled game. In the case of the first week of this pool, the deadline will be 7:00 pm Eastern Time, Saturday, October 11th (that should be 8:00 am Korean Time, Sunday October 12th). NO EXCEPTIONS. ONE MINUTE LATE MEANS ZERO FOR THE WEEK! IN THE CASE OF RESCHEDULED GAMES CANCELLED DUE TO NATURAL DISASTER OR ANY OTHER REASON, THOSE GAMES WILL BE KEPT TRACK OF AND COUNTED LATER.

We all take turns selecting the Game of the Week. I'll start things off by selecting the GOTW for the first week. Subsequent GOTW's will be determined by the order in which picks in week 1 were received. When it's your turn to choose the GOTW, please ensure you post it no later than Wed.
