Hi everybody. If I've got a visa approval number does that mean a guaranteed visa? I got my approval number a few days ago from my job and went to my local consulate to finish the application. I submitted everything and was told by the counter lady that I should come back on Monday(9/20) to get it. My other question is... is there anything that can hold the consulate back from issuing me an E-2 visa? I'm a bit worried mainly because my flight is on the 21st and don't want to be held up with any problems. Would anything that was not been filled out on the visa application be of affect? I didn't put in anything for the guarantor/reference section.

I was also on a student visa a few years ago, I went/left without any problems.

Thanks!!
