Lucy Decoutere from Trailer Park Boys, who plays Ricky's ex and Trinity's mom, taught English in Korea.

I guess most Canadians already know that she is accusing Jian Ghomeshi of choking her and slapping her in the face several times while they were making out.

She also serves as a Captain in the Royal Canadian Air Force. And did her teacher training at Griffith University in Australia.

Anyone here ever work with her while teaching in Korea?

So with that said, has anyone here ever taught EFL in Korea, or anywhere else, with someone who later went on to become famous?

Quincy Black went on to produce and star in a couple of films - more B list that A list though....

I heard from a friend of a friend that she was dating a guy in Korea but they broke up because he didn't like her preferences in the bedroom.

Oh and I like Decoutere more than Ghomeshi so I think he is guilty.

I bet the hackers are working feverishly on those cloud accounts.

I don't like either of them, but after he wrote a 1,500 word essay response on his personal Facebook account admitting that he likes it rough and to smack women around in a controlled and *consensual* situation, he obviously hit these women.

He did not deny that.

He's a typical douche who seems to use his fame and position to pull in chicks. What a lot of guys would do, I guess, if they were in his position.

Lawyers interviewed by the Globe and Mail say he won't get his job back and can't sue since he's a unionized employee. It's more about preserving his reputation and intimidating those 8 women (or more?) who may be considering taking legal action against him.

He's demanding $55 million from the Canadian Government.

Idiots whoa re his fans on Facebook are encouraging him to do it! aha! I guess they don't care that it's costing them money to pay for that.

As in she likes to get slapped around?

So is she the impetus behind his firing? Seems she went public and sat down with the Toronto Star to tell her side of the story.

I never knew she was also an officer in the Air Force.

It looks like he's going to say each case was consentual. The women are saying it wasn't. I could see one case of he said she said. But 8? He's totally going to jail.

What I don't understand is why these ladies never called the police when it happened?

None of the victims have come forward to police. Toronto Police stated yesterday that they will not investigate Ghomeshi if there are no victims (who report to police that they were assaulted by him).

So far, all of the women, except Lucy, have remained anonymous. And Lucy has not, as far as I know, filed a complaint with police. It seems, though, that she's more interested in shaming him publicly. Thus, her recent interview about Ghomeshi with the Toronto Star.

I think the Toronto Star has talked to a few of them but they are keeping their identities confidential.

But the CBC has hired private investigators to look into the Ghomeshi allegations.

Canadian tax payers money, hard at work!

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/cbc-hiring-outside-investigator-to-probe-jian-ghomeshi-allegations/article21386358/

But it seems that some of the women who allege being beaten by Ghomeshi are actually CBC employees! It's become even more complicated for CBC now that some of their own people are alleging abuse at the hands of Ghomeshi.

Women are at war with men in Canada.

Women in Canada hate men.

What I am surprised by is the fact that the witch hunt is being directed at a guy who isn't white.

I'm surprised Ghomeshi hasn't called the women and the reporters racists.

I guess it's back to Bollywood for him.
