I've been offered a position. Everything looks great in regards to work hours and salary. Seems like a pretty big, well organized company.
I am a little confused on whether I need to be registered for national health insurance and pension. They are pretty much leaving it up to me if I want to register or not and, I don't think they will be matching my contributions. I haven't made a decision on what to do in this regard.
The health insurance and pension thing would be a game-changer for me in a typical hagwon job. I am making a compromise here because the salary is a little higher and the work hours a little less that it makes up for it IMO. Sound reasonable to you guys?
Has anyone here worked for them? How was the experience? |

Not to discourage you, but I would be a little careful.
EDUBOX is a publishing company that sells its curriculum to half a dozen chain schools in Korea, so it depends on which chain you are talking about.
I would find out who/what company is running the program you applied for and then find out more information about them because EDUBOX wont care about you or your contract. |

Hi
So I think that's an after school job...hence the lower hours and higher pay....by the way, if it is an after school job, you most likely have to pay your rent, so it doesn't pay that well really (rent is usually 450-600.
And,, they probably don't pay pension or health care (about 80/won month,..?)
Good hours, so you can try to get by w/ a side job |

Actually I did not give any details about the hours or salary but I did specify that it is indeed an after school position (see title).. I also said pension and healthcare were offered as an option.
Thanks for bumping my thread. But, your reply literally has zero useful content |
