As we all know taxi drivers here offer unsolicited comments. Yesterday we get into this taxi and the guy says to my woman in Korean "your boyfriend is very handsome". Her "oh thanks". Him "what's his nationality?". Her "American". Him "oh, he doesn't look dirty like most Americans". [thumbs up sign]

He makes an excellent observation. Here are things that I do, which you might want to adopt, in order to not be viewed as dirty and uncouth.

* Keep hair neatly cropped, I go biweekly.
* Shave daily.
* Beards are considered dirty, lumberjack/jezus/homeless looks are not desirable here. (new)
* Apply facial lotion nightly.
* Stand up straight, do not slink around like a criminal.
* Smile, don't scowl at everyone.
* Employ a tailor, they are cheap and excellent here.
* If not tailored, clothing should still fit, not hang off the body in a sloppy manner.
* Iron your shirt dammit, use some starch!
* Think about coordination, don't just throw on a bunch of mismatched rags.
* Don't wear sweatpants in public.
* Don't engage in ghetto fashion (pants hanging off your butt, backwards caps, untied shoes); unlike in Americka, looking like a bum/criminal is not a desirable thing here.

Just a few tips that occurred to me with the morning coffee, feel free to add to this list.

No real feelings about it I would imagine, I found it highly amusing though.

You have recently made some conflicting posts. Is it wife or a girlfriend? So which is it?

wife
girlfriend
neither
both
hair dresser a.k.a. salon girls
~
compulsive liar
all of the above

Is "The Dirty Americans" a euphemism for ... Coming out of the closet?

Big hotshot businessman and his woman/girlfriend/wife rolling around in the back of a taxi. Both Bentleys are in the shop and the chauffeur is in the private jet coming back from Paris with some caviar and red wine for the boss.

Is this a kind of automobile? I've never owned a car.

Doesn't seem to be on topic though, perhaps you guys should be more focused on hitting the tailor this week...

Umm k, but when Koreans refer to "the dirty Americans" (this is a common perception) that probably means you, judging from your question. That perception certainly can't be helping your career can it? Might want to zip it and go have some clothes that fit made. Idea

Easily the most boring, repetitive "poster with issues" to pop up on Daves in some years. An annoying little mosquito that the mods should have swatted long ago.

By the content of his posts I'm guessing he's about 17 year's old.

Annoying child.
