Just a heads up the school is a sinking ship. They've been losing students for the past two semesters and haven't honored several terms in my contract, ie health insurance, pension.

Topia, 218-2 Bansong Dong, Hwaseong City, Gyeongi Do, South Korea, 612-080.

They're on the fourth floor of an office building that's between a Paris Baguette on one corner and a Jaws Food on the next street down.

There are always good jobs available in Korea, there are also many recruiters, however, if one is pushing you towards TOPIA in Dongtan let them know you are not interested. It is also good to talk to many recruiters so you have more job offers (they get paid well to place you in a school, so let them work for you).
This school has a reputation of being an unpleasant place to work. It is a big school but a teacher leaves almost every 2 months because of the working conditions (no vacation, long days without breaks, and most importantly, failure to enroll teachers in the national pension/healthcare plan, which is mandatory by law). Unfortunately TOPIA still seems to follow the fading tradition of cutting corners at the expense of their employees whenever possible.

Topia or not Topia. . . That is the question.
