Hi,
4 years ago I got an F2 Visa (now called F6?) with very little difficulty, since then my wife has become a Canadian citizen. Unforseeably, we are returning to Korea and I'm wondering if the fact that she's Canadian now will prevent us from getting the Visa?
Thanks.... |

Did she renounce her Korean citizenship? |

No, she didn't. Korea doesn't force that choice upon its citizens still do they?
(How I wish I was in Sherbrooke now...) |

As long as she still is Korean and has an ID number you can reapply for the spousal visa, F2 F6 or whatever they heck they call it now. Your old visa would have expired because you've been out of the country for so long. But I can't see why you couldn't get another one.
That said, I'm not an immigration officer either but I'm sure your wife can ask them about it. |
