Anyone else use it? For those of you who do not know, it is a web browser. I find it to be much much better than Internet Explorer. Web pages seem to be much cleaner and crisper. It also have hundreds of extentsions so you can customize it.
For those of you who use, what do you think of it? |

I use it but it seems to be a bit slow and choppy while loading pages, otherwise it's just grand - especially for popups, security, and the like. I've completely removed Internet Explorer from my system so it doesn't butt-in. If you're interested in removing it (as much of it as feasible) get an application called XPLite Pro ... there are minimal consequences of removing it and the average user need-not do so. |

I use it and I love tabbed browsing. It means that using the middle click button on my mouse on all the links of posts I want to read on this forum, they all open in new tabs in the background. I then work through them one by one closing them as I go.
I like the password manager thing too. IE6 would only remember one password/username for both Dave's Korea and Dave's the Rest of the World. Firefox manages both pages. |

This week I've tried Netscape, Mozilla and firefox. I'm sticking with Firefox. On my system or in my experience it's way faster and has the look and feel I'm used to. Netscape wants registrations and I don't like that. It was the slowest by far. It doesn't use my favourites, it adds them as a subcategory and keeps it's own favourite list. I don't like that. Mozilla didn't have the favourite sidebar (or I didn't find it) and it was second slowest.
Firefox has lots of skins, I found it way faster and simpler to dl and use. It absorbs all my IE settings as it installs (so no wondering, searching or importing).
It's simpler and faster to install and use. I like the extensions too. They are extra feaures that dl and install in half seconds which add features I like but don't see on the others. It even has an IE emulating button for stoneage sites that want to see version 4 or 6 (IE).
Firefox-faster, simpler, no contest IMHO |
