First he admitted it, and they say he was shown on cctv. Now he is back to deny it; implying conspiracy.
I'd love to see the translations of the Japanese and Korean chat rooms about this.
He should become a spokesman for canon. " Canon is irresistible"

In response, the Japanese Olympic Committee called its own press conference to refute Tomita's claim. It explained that committee officials were asked by the Korean police to cooperate with the investigation and checked the CCTV footage. This did not discourage the swimmer.

When the theft was reported, police checked CCTV footage and spotted Tomita leaving the aquatic center with the camera body after detaching the telephoto lens. He was arrested during training at on Friday evening and the stolen camera was recovered from his room.
