Feel free to comment if you think there's an inaccurate/missing category |

You forgot to add "The Hill in Itaewon".
Many a foreigner might be surprised about their GF's past... |

What kind of single woman, rich or otherwise, would have more than one car? In Korea of all places. |

The poll was more about the socio-economic background of the woman's parents. |

Yes, maybe there should be a category for 'I don't know because she's kept it hidden from me.' |

Many a Girl with dirty little secrets…, from all walks of life, no matter the country.
I would think the women from upper-middle to higher class families would be less likely to have as many secrets. |

There is wealth and there is lifestyle. In many cases these two paint a very different picture. Approximate net worth would be much more accurate.
I know a family with easily 5 million dollars worth of real estate yet they don't own a car because they think driving is dangerous, don't travel abroad and are very careful with spending - saving money on heating etc. On the other hand there are plenty with almost nothing in the bank, paying monthly rent on a large and nice apartment, maintaining an expensive car, buying expensive stuff like there is no tomorrow. They may seem solid middle class but they are nowhere near that. |

What about "in debt to their eyeballs."
How about "House poor."
Plenty of those around.
In relation to another poster who said many are hiding secrets, there is a lot of truth to that. I know an American guy who married what he believed to be a middle class girl. After the wedding he found out that she was $45,000 in debt. |

I wonder about how many should have money. I knew a guy who got married a while back but still can't get his F visa because she doesn't have a job, a house or place in her name, and a certain amount of money in the bank. I wanted to know more details, but he was kind of vague. Don't know if immigration rules changed or not. I guess you may have to marry a chick with money, either a business working woman, a civil servant, a business owner, a rich family, or a hooker (if she made a lot of coin. Ha ha.) |

This is a good point.
Students on the whole tend to borrow money to get them through their studies. Also with the rising cost of living, this is more a normal state of things. It takes a while to pay back the 20 plus millions that have been borrowed.
I know my beloved is up to her waist in it, but to be fair, shes never asked me or her folks for a penny and is trying to work it off herself. |

this is where the guy puts a certain amount of money (30 million) in her account, and leaves it for a few months.
This is what I did, and had no troubles at all. My wife didnt have a job (grad school), a house, or a place in her name. |

I know of the same thing happening to an American guy who married what he believed to be a middle class girl, perhaps she was from a middle class family. Darn! After the wedding he found out she was in debt too. He never told me exactly how much debt, but it must have been around the same amount based on the payback plan. We may know the same guy! |

At least he knows about it now.
I know a guy who still doesn't know about his wife's massive debt. Moreover she also lost the husband's 100.000usd on stocks. And the poor guy thinks his money is invested somewhere. They have been together for some 10 years but still living in weolse.
It happens the other way around too. I know several foreigners with a lot of debt back home but somehow they failed to tell it before marriage. |

That's why you have to be responsible like me and pay that sh!t off and save up some cash before getting married. No expensive Gangnam apartments, but a decent spacious villa and low rent can be good enough. |
