Has anyone hit the "Degree Undefined" wall when applying at the HongIk University website? This error pops up after I enter my degree info in "Educational Background" section.

How can I workaround this error?

Didn't have any issues like that when I applied last year.

IIRC it only accepted certain phrases for degrees in English so I just used the Korean side to apply as the English side was a little finicky.

Also, I'm sure you are already doing it, but just to check, the site only works with IE IIRC.

Did you need to know Korean to complete the HongIk app on the Korean-side of HongIk website?

I'm not able to print out the application after I completed all the sections. I downloaded the Viewer from the website but it only prints out the first section (name and educational) but left blank certification and work experience sections. How can I print out the whole application?

Is there more than one Hongik Website? I don't see the job posted on:
http://en.hongik.ac.kr/

Thanks,

edit-- nevermind, I found the link on the Dave's Job Board.

Never tried printing it out myself, did the whole thing online. As for Korean, yes, but it is pretty basic.

FYI: Hongik only accepts brick and mortar MAs. If you did yours online, you won't be hired.

I did an old-school MA, but had no problem with the online application.
