Is it the same as setting it up to watch Hulu plus on your computer?
Looking for specific info/steps on how to set up VPN for streaming Hulu Plus in Korea through my PS4 and PS3.
I Want to be able to watch Hulu Plus on my TV in the living room, and TV in the master bedroom. Both are going to be hooked up to the PS3 and PS4
If anyone could post the process, I'd be grateful. |

I bought a flashed router through StrongVPN. Huge let down. I get around 95 mbps on my ethernet connection, but the flashed router only allows around 3mbps for my Xbox.
Much easier to just hook up a pc straight to a tv to view Netflix, Hulu, and the like instead of using a flashed router. |

So I'm assuming that once you've purchased your VPN from a provider, you go through the normal steps in your settings for VPN, and then how would you connect the PC to the PS4? Wireless? The TV is fairly new 2 years old with 4 HDMI connects, but my PC is 3 years old with only one HDMI slot. It's a lenovo, is there another option? Ethernet maybe? |

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I use a laptop as my entertainment center and do nothing with the vpn for my Xbox.
I have my laptop wired directly to the ethernet connection from the wall behind my tv, and I have my laptop connected to the tv via an HDMI cable.
When it's Netflix time, I simply turn on the VPN then open up a browser window, go to Netflix, and enjoy.
Wall ethernet cable----->to laptop--------->HDMI to tv------->TV -----> me watching
If you really want to use your PS4, consider changing your DNS numbers on the PS4. There are plenty of really cheap (a few dollars a month) services that will let you use their DNS numbers. I tried it before with my Xbox, and it worked well for Netflix and Amazon Prime. |

Right, I should've realized that! It's just that here in the states, wife and I have been watching Hulu Plus for so long through the PS3 and PS4 apps that I just forgot about using the computer to do the same thing!
Thanks for your help! |
