Anyone know anything about Hongseong, Chungcheongnamdo? There seems to be limited information on the place.
Any info appreciated.
Thanks |

There was a thread about Yesan down below, Hongseong is right next to Yesan with little difference. |

I believe its a part of the Chonan metro area. Hongsang has a bus that goes daily starting in the mornings to Seoul. Takes about an hour to central Seoul, although getting to the bus station might extend the time to Seoul. Might not be a bad place to work. People in Chungnam (Cheongchungdo) are pretty nice in general with some exceptions. In general Chungnam is not heavily populated and unlike Seoul is not inundated with bars filled with foreign teacher expats. You will most likely have other foreign teachers living in Hongsang for company and nothing more, for good or for bad. Many people adjust and start to like it. |
