Has anyone done a visa run to Tokyo recently or checked to see how long the turnaround is? Some threads say 3 days, some say as long as 4.
I'm going to call the Korean embassy tomorrow, but just thought I would check here too. |

I ended up doing this. The turnaround is 3 days if anyone is interested. So drop off on Monday before 11am, and you can pick up your visa on Wednesday after 2pm. When I went there was hardly anyone there, didn't have to wait at all. The fee was 5500 yen.
The place to go is actually the Korean Consulate in Tokyo, not the embassy. Here is the address:

1-7-32, Minami-Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0047
Tel:03-3455-2601 or 03-3455-2603
The closest subway is Azabujuban Station, exit 2. Walk straight for about 5 minutes and look for the Korean flag on the same side of the street. |

I just read Japan's turnaround time changed from 1 day to 3 days.
What countries are now doing it the same day? |
