|

The title pretty much says it all. I want to send my cousin a box full of soju juice boxes to lighten his extended cabin fever back in Wisconsin. So, I'm curious are there any limits on shipping this swill? And, is there some special box I should ship it in? |

It is illegal to ship alcohol though the mail. |

That is incredibly lame. Why would they do that? Taxes? Nanny state agenda? |

Soju comes in juice boxes now?
If you want to mail him some, I guess what I would do is take the bus or subway to another neighborhood and mail it with a fake name and a fake return address, and put "Korean cultural knick-knacks" on the customs form. |

When I was in Korea a friend of mine managed to send me a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream. (What he didn't know was that I could buy it myself at E-Mart, but it's the thought that counts.)
The sugar in that stuff burning would give them more to worry about than any alcohol in it burning. |

In the US, if you want to ship alcohol through mail you usually have to do it through a licensed dealer(such as a bar owner or owner of liquor store). Maybe that would work in Korea. |

It's easier to ship domestically since there's no customs or forms to deal with. I shipped a bottle of champagne to an aunt and uncle in another state one holiday season. |
