Schuller died early Thursday at a care facility in Artesia, daughter Carol Schuller Milner said. In 2013, he was diagnosed with a tumour in his esophagus that had spread to his lymph nodes and began treatment.

I always liked the Crystal Cathedral, architecturally speaking. It was designed by Philip Johnson, who also did a lot of other renowned buildings.
From the ten minutes or so that I spent watching his TV show, I can see why other evangelicals criticized Schuller for being "humanistic". He seemed relatively tolerant of other viewpoints, including non-Christian ones.
