It just depends on the reason why it isn't working

Your first choice is to go Download it and install it .... even if you've done so in the past

Go to http://www.java.com (Sun Java Homepage) and there is the link to install .... it checks to see if it's there first and then installs what is necessary

Do that .... it will likely fix your issue

Using Internet Explorer causes some issues with Java, as they have their own "Virtual Machine" version. Use a different browser, such as Mozilla, and get their Java plug-in.

Since I did that, I have had no problems.

You might want to get your hands on the Microsoft JVM for your IE. Thing is, you need to download an older version (many sites archive it, look for it on google) and then update it through Windows Update.

jae.

Yea, the JVM is a good option to give a shot, I've got the file if you want it to try it ........ or download here

http://www.saigoninfo.com/msjavx86.exe

Also, in Windows 2000 and Windows XP (you never mentioned your Operating System version) has an option to tell Explorer what Java to use ... to either use the JVM or another Java Engine (such as Sun)

Check the add/remove tab in the control panel and there in that screen is another tab called Program Access and Defaults ... there is an option on what to use

Give those a try ...
