I would imagine hostility to be the most important quality.

Picture yourself in the best and worst situation you could be and owning your own language business in Korea will be somewhere between the extremes. Plenty of business owners on the forum who might be willing to tell you their story, but nothing says success or failure like real life experience. I happen to own my own academy, and the getting started part is really negligible in terms of what it is like to own and operate your business. Want more information, then send me a PM with questions. Good luck if this is your dream of life in Korea. Cool

$100,000 investment for your visa (or a Korean wife).

It depends on your visa status in Korea.

IF you are F5 the process is the same as any other Korean starting one. Just jump through the hoops.

If you are E2 the chances of getting through the paperwork are slim to none.
